One pre-defined subgroup, the children who started with below-median scores, did better on a single visuospatial memory task, which is a lead for further research rather than a result you can count on. That trial also used Sharp-PS Green, a different company's ingredient, not SerinAid.

Randomised, placebo-controlled trial of sunflower-derived phosphatidylserine on cognitive outcomes. The product tested was Sharp-PS Green, an IFF Health ingredient, not SerinAid. Four of the authors were employees of IFF Health, which sells that product. (Friling et al. 2025, Nutrition Journal)

The trial did not succeed: the authors report no differences in primary or secondary outcomes in the total cohort. The only positive signal came from a pre-defined subgroup whose baseline performance was below the median, which improved on one visuospatial memory task. A subgroup result from a trial that missed its own endpoints is a hypothesis, not proof. Stress and cortisol were not measured.
